After graduating from Indiana University – Bloomington, Isabel Estevez and Erica Weyer decided to put their economics degrees to use by working on a small, sustainable community development project in San Gerardo, Ecuador, at the base of the glorious Mt. Chimborazo.
In collaboration with the people of San Gerardo, students and faculty at Indiana University, the Indiana-Ecuador Partnership for Sustainable Development, the Kentuckiana community, and Ecuadorian organizations, we are developing an array of community development projects in San Gerardo and creating service-learning opportunities for students.
